1. Unstitched product
All products sold by Heerika Fabrics are unstitched fabric sets unless expressly stated otherwise.
Stitching, tailoring, lining, alteration and customisation services are not provided or included.
Customers must arrange tailoring independently.
2. Styled and model images
A product shown stitched on a model, mannequin or styled display is shown only to help customers visualise a possible finished look.
The customer will receive unstitched fabric components described on the product page.
The final stitched appearance depends on:
- Tailor skill;
- Body measurements;
- Chosen neckline;
- Sleeve design;
- Garment length;
- Lining;
- Pattern placement; and
- Customer styling choices.
Heerika Fabrics is not responsible for tailoring errors or differences in the final stitched outfit.
3. Product components
Only components expressly listed on the product page are included.
Accessories, jewellery, footwear, bags, decorative props, lining, tassels, buttons or laces shown in imagery are not included unless specifically mentioned.
4. Approximate measurements
Unless otherwise displayed, a standard suit set may contain:
- Top fabric: approximately 2.25 metres
- Bottom fabric: approximately 2.25 metres
- Dupatta: approximately 2.25 metres
Measurements are approximate and may vary by design, cutting and finishing.
An approximate tolerance of up to ±0.25 metre may apply unless different measurements or tolerances are stated on the product page.
Customers should confirm suitability with their tailor before cutting.
5. Colour representation
We make reasonable efforts to show colours accurately.
Actual colours may vary slightly because of:
- Screen brightness;
- Device calibration;
- Display settings;
- Photography lighting;
- Indoor or outdoor lighting; and
- Fabric texture or sheen.
A minor colour difference caused by these factors is not necessarily a defect.
6. Fabric texture and natural variations
Handloom, woven, embroidered, block-printed, dyed and handcrafted fabrics may contain minor irregularities, including:
- Small weave variations;
- Thread movement;
- Print alignment variation;
- Minor embroidery differences;
- Slubs or knots;
- Natural texture variation; and
- Slight shade variation.
Such features may be inherent to the production process and are not automatically manufacturing defects.
7. Embellishments and handwork
Zari, sequins, beads, stones, threadwork, lace and other embellishments may require careful handling.
A minor loose thread that can be safely secured may not constitute a manufacturing defect. Significant damage existing at delivery should be reported according to the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
8. Washing and care
Dry cleaning is recommended.
Customers should avoid washing, soaking, ironing or treating the fabric before deciding whether an eligible defect claim is required.
Heerika Fabrics is not responsible for:
- Colour bleeding;
- Shrinkage;
- Fading;
- Damage to embroidery;
- Fabric distortion; or
- Texture changes
caused by incorrect washing, soaking, detergent, heat, ironing or care.
9. Pre-washing and tailoring
Where a tailor recommends pre-shrinking, lining, reinforcement or other treatment, the customer should obtain appropriate professional advice.
Once the fabric is washed, cut, stitched or altered, it is ordinarily not returnable.
10. Product-page information
Product-specific information displayed on the relevant product page will prevail over general promotional images, videos, captions or social-media posts.
Customers should review:
- Fabric type;
- Included components;
- Approximate lengths;
- Colour;
- Work and embroidery;
- Transparency;
- Care recommendations; and
- Any special notes.
11. Photographs and videos
Our product photographs and videos are created or commissioned by Heerika Fabrics.
Unauthorised copying, downloading, commercial use, editing or reproduction is prohibited.
12. No guarantee of identical stitching outcome
Any neckline, sleeve, silhouette or finished look shown is an inspiration and not a guarantee that every tailor will reproduce it identically.
13. Statutory rights
This disclaimer does not exclude liability for genuine defects, incorrect goods, misleading descriptions or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
